Driving directions:
Depart Johannesburg on the N12 or N3 east, merging onto the N4 highway toward Witbank (eMalahleni) and Middelburg. Take the R540 exit at Belfast. Follow this road through the town of Dullstroom (a great spot for a coffee break) and continue on to Lydenburg. From Lydenburg, take the R36 toward Ohrigstad. You will travel through the scenic Abel Erasmus Pass and the Strijdom Tunnel. Shortly after the tunnel, follow the signs to merge onto the R527, which leads directly into Hoedspruit. Continue through the town of Hoedspruit on the R527. Turn right onto the R40. After approximately 6–7 km, look for the Argyle Road turn-off (often signposted for Eastgate/Hoedspruit Airport or Timbavati). Follow Argyle Road; Kubu Bush Lodge is located along this road, approximately 15–17 km from the town centre
