Kingfisher Villa, the main lodge, is tastefully designed with a plush formal lounge, relaxed living area and elegant dining room. Accommodating only 10 people (maximum) at any one time, personal service and a sense of space are guaranteed.
Our private chef will take care of all of your culinary needs, and guests can enjoy a romantic meal in the dining room or have dinner in the outdoor boma. Meals are prepared using fresh local produce, with a wide variety of delectable dishes to choose from. The pace of the day is completely up to you – spend time relaxing at the villa or participate in a wide range of activities on offer. The five waterside suites have been named and designed to reflect the colours and characteristics of various species of kingfisher, namely: Giant Suite; Malachite Suite, Mangrove Suite, Pied Suite and Woodland Suite. Large glass windows frame the beautiful views and double doors open onto private wooden decks. High thatched ceilings, extravagant chandeliers and voluptuous curtains offer the perfect contrast to light touches of African art.

BY ROAD:
Take N1 freeway towards Pretoria following the directions to Polokwane. Take the Bela Bela / Settlers off ramp. (Exit 238). Turn left at yield sign and proceed for ± 5kms to T -junction Turn right into town. Go over bridge and turn left at the garage. Follow Thabazimbi road (R516). Follow road down to the traffic circle. At circle turn left on the Thabazimbi /Rooiberg road and proceed along for 36kms. Turn right on Rooiberg tarred road. (Road D2533). Follow Mabula signs for 11kms to Mabula gate.
Road transfers to and from OR Tambo Airport can be arranged at an additional charge.
