Children under the age of 12 years sharing with two adults pay 50% of the adult sharing rate per night.
Manor House Family Suite: comprises two bedrooms, one full en-suite bathroom, accommodating max 2 adults and 2 children.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult during game drives.
Children under 12 are permitted on safari at the sole discretion of the manager or guide.
Children under 6 are not permitted on safari, and where possible, a kiddie’s safari will be arranged between normal safari times. Babysitting can be arranged at the lodge at an additional charge.
Bush walks are open to young adults 16 years and older and will be at the Lodge Manager’s or trails guides discretion and is dependent on the age and potential fitness levels of the guests.
Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor
Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor is located in the Rietspruit Big 5 Game Reserve in Hoedspruit, the gateway to the Greater Kruger National Park, a wildlife haven in Limpopo Province, South Africa. The manor is in the northern section of the reserve, overlooking the splendour of the Blyde River Canyon, the third largest and most spectacular canyon in the world. Guests can enjoy the dining and pool deck, bar area, and various lounges at their leisure, feeling right at home in the tastefully furnished manor.
The Manor House, adorned with original artwork and Persian carpets, exudes a luxurious and exotic ambiance. The panoramic view of the towering Drakensberg mountain range from the alfresco dining terrace is breathtaking. We offer an authentic safari experience guided by our knowledgeable guides on our own reserve, featuring white rhinos and fiercely guarded black rhinos, along with regular sightings of rare wild dogs. We welcome children of all ages and offer a variety of activities for all tastes. We also provide airport transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport.

Driving directions:
Take the N12 east toward Witbank (eMalahleni), where it merges into the N4. Roughly 30 km past Middelburg, take the R540 exit (left) through Belfast and continue to Dullstroom and then Lydenburg. In Lydenburg, follow signs for the R36 toward Ohrigstad. This route takes you through the scenic Abel Erasmus Pass and the Strijdom Tunnel, eventually becoming the R527 as you descend toward Hoedspruit. Once you reach Hoedspruit, take the R40 south. Drive for about 2 km until you see the sign for Welverdiend Game Reserve / Khaya Ndlovu Game Reserve on your right. Turn right into the reserve and cross the railway tracks. Follow the gravel road for approximately 1 km, following the signs to the manor house.
