Kapama Southern Camp
Southern Camp is situated in the south of the big 5 game reserve. The lodge offers luxury game lodge accommodation, warm hospitality and friendly service in a tranquil setting that will be savoured by even the most discerning nature lover.
All 15 suites at Southern Camp have full en-suite bathrooms with picture windows to enjoy the surrounding scenery and birdlife. Air conditioning, minibars and tea and coffee stations are standard in all suites of this five-star safari accommodation. Private patios offer the opportunity to enjoy relaxing sundowners, while game watching at the same time. The ten 85 m2 Villas have their own private lap pool, inside and outside showers, large minibar, espresso machines and a romantic fireplace open to the bath and bedroom. 3 of the Villas have been designed with families in mind with a second connecting bedroom for the children with its own bath, shower, double vanity and outside patio.
Enjoy the splendid vistas over the natural waterhole frequented by animals throughout the day, as you sip your favourite cocktail from the wooden deck around the welcoming rim-flow swimming pool or in the elegantly decorated lounge.
Guests enjoy two game drives daily with experienced and qualified ranger and tracker teams. The game drives are conducted within the Big 5 Kapama Private Game Reserve ensuring guests have a superb safari experience

Driving directions:
From Johannesburg:
Depart Johannesburg and take either the N12 or N4 highway towards Turn off to Belfast. Continue on the N4, then turn left onto the R33 towards Belfast (eMakhazeni). In the centre of Belfast, turn right onto the R540 towards Dullstroom (Emnotweni) and Lydenburg (Mashishing). Dullstroom is a popular halfway stop for lunch or coffee. Continue through Dullstroom on the R540 until you reach Lydenburg. Connect with the R36 at Lydenburg. Follow the R36 through Ohrigstad and the scenic Strijdom Tunnel. After the tunnel, the R36 becomes the R527. Go through the town of Hoedspruit and turn right onto the R40 towards Klaserie. Continue on the R40 for about 10 km. The entrance for Kapama Private Game Reserve will be clearly signposted on your left-hand
